BioI am a senior at the University of Minnesota, but I am spending the first semester of 2009 in Cairo, Egypt studying at AUC. My major is international relations with a concentration on the Middle East. I enjoy sci-fi and fantasy. I'm a big fan of the original trilogy of Star Wars, TOS, TNG, and DS9 of Star Trek. My past obsessions/passing fancies have included bu Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Andromeda, Monk, Battlestar Galactica, Babylon 5, Firefly, Alias to name a few! I used to be an avid fan fiction writer, but college has killed my love of writing and has only succeeded at making me write more bull crap faster and with less energy previously required. Although as of late I have been getting a few plot bunnies (right when I'm about to go on my own real-world adventure. Go figure, huh?)
I don't often post to this journal, I use LJ mainly for commenting in fan communities and participating in icontests. However I am really going to try to change that in the next few months...my parents are invading Facebook and I think I need someplace to put my life in order every once in a while.
